In 2012, two brothers decided to attempt to stand on the high point of each of the 50 state high points.  During their second summit push, to the top of Clingman's Dome in Tennessee, the two arrived late in the afternoon to find the road to the summit closed.  Without proper gear, and only one glove each (sharing the matched pair), they set out on the 16 mile round-trip to the top and back.  Eight years later, the two decided to help others attempting the same pursuit through tips and tricks, gear reviews, and more.
